Customers can access and update their details by logging into our web site. The access is achieved by using a user name and a password specified by you the customer. Passwords are stored on our server using one-way encryption technology. A forgotten password can not be retrieved in its original form. A new password must be created each time the customer requests a password. Customers can have the new password sent to them by submitting the correct E-mail address.


Credit Card Information

Your credit card details are used for the purpose of payment of your order by third party banking, (third party being secds.com.au). We will at no time disclose this information for any other purpose, than to use these details for the payment of your order. The customer gives us their authority to use these details for payment of their orders by using this web-site or by submitting them through fax. All credit card details are encrypted during on-line data transfer using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Credit card details are not stored on secds.com.au database server by default. Customers must submit credit card details each time you place an order. This is done for your protection

secds.com.au is committed to reducing the amount of fraud it faces. Our policy is that we will prosecute any cases of fraud that we identify. As a first time customer, you may receive a telephone call or E-mail requesting more information or proof (eg faxing a copy of the credit card) to confirm the details that you have supplied to us. If any of the information you supply is found to be false or misleading, we will, if we deem it appropriate, report this to the appropriate authorities for them to prosecute.


E-mail Address

The E-mail address you submitted during an order will be used by secds .com.au for the sole purpose of extended customer service.secds .com.au will only use your E-mail address to communicate with you about the status, cost and shipping details, or any other changes required about your order. We may also send E-mails to customers for important events such as change of address etc.

The E-mail address you submit to join the newsletter mailing list will be used by secds.com.au for the sole purpose of sending regular newsletters. We maintain the newsletter E-mail list separate from the one stored in the customer database.
